The Ayurvedic traditional art and science of pulse reading is one of the most powerful means of diagnosing the many imbalances of the body-mind, the degree to which those imbalances are doing harm, and ultimately, what treatments are most effective at restoring balance. Join Dr. Manas Kshirsagar as he presents this ancient diagnostic art form in a way that easy to learn and implement. Learn to feel and “hear” the inner intelligence of the body as it speaks through the subtle qualities of the pulse. Pulse diagnostics also allows the Ayurveda counselor to detect imbalances early before they manifest as disease. Reading the pulse offers insights that can be used to assess where the imbalance is located (dhatu, subdosha, agni, ama, ojas, etc) and what changes the client will need to restore balance.

AROMA THERAPY | THERAPIE
Like our sense of taste, through sense of smell we take into our body, mind, and consciousness, impressions that can lead to health and wellness or to disease.
Just like food, essential oils have qualities that are either suited for you as individual or contribute to an imbalance. In our Holistic Health Practice we use the knowledge of Ayurveda to bring our clients back in balance or to prevent imbalance. In a personal wellness plans we recommend specific aromas in the form of essential oils to bring their body and mind in balance. Every scent is made up of some combinations of the five elements (fire, air, ether, earth, and water) but also the six tastes (sweet, sour, salty, pungent, bitter, and astringent) can be identified in certain aromas.
Four simple ways to create a conscious Aromatic Environment:
- Bring flowers into your home
- Add essential oils to a base oil and make a natural perfume
- Take several drops of essential oil and place them in an aroma therapy diffuser
- Create an aroma therapy spray mister
In our Ayurvedic Body treatments of Abhyanga we also make use of essential oils. We use brands of Young Living and Kama Ayurveda.
